We believe that Faith is central to our lives and we try to put this into practice in all that we do.
At Oakhill we tell our children about how they are valued and loved. They are loved and valued by God, by their parents, by their teachers and by each other. We look at the examples given by Jesus of how we should live our lives and focus on how we can help others through service and ourselves through prayer and reflection.
We celebrate our faith in a number of ways through daily prayer, assemblies and through religious services throughout the school year. We welcome parents to join us in our school masses and also in our class masses in the new Chapel. We are extending our retreat programme throughout the school so that children have the opportunity to learn about the Catholic faith and develop their own faith. We welcome children of all faiths or none and respect their beliefs.
We have an active Chaplaincy group and we hope to extend this group to include pupils and parents as well as staff and governors.
