About Us
Oakhill is a school that cares, and the family ethos of the Upper School supports and guides pupils through the vital years of their secondary education. Catholic values, Christian beliefs, respect for others, good manners and diligence are all very important to the school, and pupils are encouraged to work hard and maintain high standards of behaviour and appearance.
We believe strong pastoral support is essential. Pupils are led under the guidance of their Form Tutor, and are assigned their own personal Tutor in their final years to help steer them through the challenge of GCSEs, and the choices which lie beyond Oakhill.
From day one pupils are also assigned to either Scholars or Martyrs House. Our House system not only enhances the pastoral support, but encourages a sense of community and belonging as well as healthy competition. Pupils enjoy being part of the wider Oakhill family, and thrive, safe in the knowledge that they are never alone in their academic efforts.
Visits to the school are always welcomed and I urge you to see the school ‘in action’ to witness the tangible evidence and atmosphere which make Oakhill College unique.
